Please join us for a free event to celebrate the completion of construction in CentennialPark. The Great Lawn Party will take place on Thursday, August 26 from 6 - 8 PM on the park's Great Lawn. The large open space of the six-acre lawn will enable attendees to enjoy lawn activities and performances while maintaining social distancing. The free event will feature lawn games, including corn hole, badminton, ring toss, and frisbees; performances by HalfBrass, Viva Mexico, and students from the Metro Park’s jamBand and Dance programs; Kidsville children’s crafts, lawn activities, and balloon artist; and food trucks, including Califarmia, Changnoi Thai Lao Fusion, Daddy’s Dogs, Retro Sno, and Spread ‘Em. There will be a pre-show performance by the JamBand at 5:45 PM and remarks by Mayor Cooper 6:15 PM.
