Join us for Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays in November from 11-11:45 AM. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon for free on these dates and times. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 AM. We will be located upstairs in Parthenon's Naos room that houses Athena unless otherwise noted.
NOVEMBER ACTIVITIES
November 6 - Explore the book, When the Storm Comes by Ashman and Yoo with Imagination Library, then create a pine cone weather forecaster.
November 13 - Celebrate fall and this season of gratitude with the book, We're Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger, and pick up a kit to make your own leaf art. Join us after Kidsville at the Parthenon on the Ellipse Lawn outside the Museum entrance from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM as we gather on blankets and read books about fall and gratitude with our trained animal friends from Music City Pet Partners.
November 20 - Learn how nickels and dimes saved by children make a difference, like the ones saved to create The Parthenon's Athena statue, then make your own recycled savings bank.
There will be no Kidsville at the Parthenon on November 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving themed take home kits are available to download.
