March Kidsville at the Parthenon

Join us for Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays in March from 11-11:45 AM. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon for free on these dates and times. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 AM. We will be located upstairs in Parthenon's Naos room that houses Athena unless otherwise noted. Please note, Kidsville registration ends at 11:20 AM.

March 19: Explore how new music can expand our minds and ears with musician, Dave Loucky of Intersection Music Group, Nashville's contemporary classical music ensemble. A take home craft kit exploring how wind creates music will be available.

March 26 - Read the book, What Color is the Wind? by Anne HerbautsIn this interactive sensory book, a blind child questions all he encounters - a dog, wolf, elephant, mountain, bird, stream, and tree - about the color of the wind. Each responds differently, with a shape, color, smell, texture, or idea. A take-home kit to create your own “wind book” will be available.
