December Kidsville at the Parthenon

Join us for Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays in December from 11-11:45 AM. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon for free on these dates and times. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 AM. We will be located upstairs in Parthenon's Naos room that houses Athena unless otherwise noted.

DECEMBER SCHEDULE

December 4: Explore the book, Coat of Many Colors by Dolly Parton with Imagination Library, then paint on fabric panels in the style of the Parthenon’s East Gallery featured artist, Omari Booker.

December 11: Join Nashville Parthenon’s Education Director, Katherine Petrole in exploring symbols and meanings on ancient and modern coins. Then, create your own ancient drachma or coin that represents you.

December 18: Explore how new music can expand our minds and ears with Musicians from from Intersection, Nashville's contemporary classical music ensemble. Then, create a craft inspired by the music.

There will be no Kidsville at the Parthenon on December 25 for the Christmas holiday.
