Join us for Kidsville at the Parthenon on Saturdays in August. Families with children ages 12 and under can register in the lobby beginning at 10:30 AM, and children will immediately be able to participate in activity & craft stations located upstairs. Weekly storytelling or special guest programming will begin promptly at 11 AM in front of Athena. Kidsville attendees must register before 11:20 AM to receive free Parthenon admission. (Avoid the line: Please complete this registration form online in advance. Entry time for pre-registered attendees remains 10:30 - 11:20 AM.)
AUGUST SCHEDULE
August 5 - Kidsville at Parthenon - Come for an exploration of the book, Somewhere Right Now by Kerry Docherty and Susie Mason, with Imagination Library, then make art inspired by the book and Parthenon exhibits.
August 12 - Kidsville at Parthenon - Come hear about the Greek myth of Perseus and the sights of the night sky named after the myth.
August 19 - Kidsville at Parthenon - Come explore how new music can expand our minds and ears with violinist, Christina McGann of Intersection Music Group, Nashville's contemporary classical music ensemble, then make art inspired by instruments and music.
August 26 - Kidsville at Parthenon - Come join Bach to Rock Music School of West Nashville for an exploration of making music with instruments, voices and imaginations, then make art inspired by your time with the Bach to Rock musicians.
