Join us for Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays in April. Families with children ages 12 and under can register in the lobby beginning at 10:30 AM, and children will immediately be able to participate in activity & craft stations located upstairs. Weekly storytelling or special guest programming will begin promptly at 11 AM in front of Athena. Kidsville attendees must register before 11:20 AM to receive free Parthenon admission. (Avoid the line: Please complete this registration form online in advance. Entry time for pre-registered attendees remains 10:30 - 11:20 AM.)
APRIL SCHEDULE
April 1: Come for an exploration of the book ,The Rabbit Listened by Cori Doerrfeld with Imagination Library, then make art inspired by the book.
April 8: Come for an exploration of the book, Many Shapes of Clay: A Story of Healing by Kenesha Sneed, then make clay art inspired by the book.
April 15: Come explore how new music can expand our minds and ears with flutist, Molly Barth of Intersection Music Group, Nashville's contemporary classical music ensemble, then make art inspired by the music and The Parthenon museum’s Slow Art Day celebration.
April 22: No Kidsville at the Parthenon today, join Kidsville instead at Nashville Earth Day. Make a Nashville Earth Day Passport sketchbook to use at the event. Get a stamp in your passport at booths you visit and create in our nature sculpture area.
April 29: Come hear the Greek myth of 6 Pomegranate seeds and Persephone, then create with natural paints made from pomegranates and other plants.
Please note: there will be no Kidsville at the Parthenon on Saturday, April 22. Please join us outside by the Bandshell in Centennial Park for Nashville Earth Day!
