The Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival is taking place virtually on October 3 and you can join the celebration from home on. Kidsville will be celebrating Nashville in person at Centennial Art Center on Saturday, October 3 from 10 AM - 2 PM. Kyla will be on site distributing craft kits for Recycled Rhythm Shakers.

Kidsville is proud to introduce our first Storybook Walk in Centennial Park. Bring your children to the park for quality outdoor time while reading a wonderful story. Our first walk takes place from October 4 - 11 and features one of our favorite Imagination Library books, Silly Goose's BIG Story by Keiko Kasza, which highlights the importance of friends and imagination.   • Join Kyla at the Parthenon on Saturday, October 17 from 9 AM - 12 PM as we celebrate International Archaeology Day. Kidsville will be hosting one of the Parthenon's activity stations where you can make an olive oil painting based on a Greek myth.

October 2 - HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH: Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Rachel Rodriquez who will share songs about families and teach Spanish. Create a song sheet for Rachel's song Than You For My Family

October 9 - GREEK MYTHOLOGY: Katie Petrole, education director of the Parthenon shares the Greek myth of the contest to name a city between Athena and Poseidon. Create fall art using olive oil.

October 16 - PUPPET SHOW: Nashville Puppet Truck presents a performance of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves

October 23 - STORY TIME: Imagination Library reads the book Groovy Joe

October 30 - HALLOWEEN: Nikki Jones, Kidsville Outreach Manager, presents a DIY Halloween project. Create a goofy or spooky Halloween monster bookmark for your favorite book and learn about a few of Nikki's favorite books that would pair well with your bookmark.
